21 Football team players from BIMS College were injured when a bus overturned. The accident took place near Saundati taluka on Wednesday evening.
Fortunately, a major accident was averted and everyone suffered minor injuries. According to the information received, the team had left for Gadag by bus for the ongoing football tournament in Gadag.
Learning about the incident, Saundatti Taluk Health Officer, Dr. Mahesh Chittargi, and his colleagues rushed to the spot and rescued all of the injured students. The team left for Gadag on Thursday morning after treatment.
