5-year-old child injured in stay dogs attack; Memorandum submitted to DC demanding action on these dogs
A 5-year-old child from Kangrali street was attacked by four stray dogs. The badly injured toddler is being treated at the Civil Hospital right now. On reporting the incident to Municipal Corporation, "There are around 25000 stray dogs in Belagavi City. How will we control them?" they responded.
The number of stray dogs in the area has increased and such incidents are frequent.
However, social activist Ganesh Ashok Kale and his team have submitted a memorandum to DC and a copy of it has also been submitted to Municipal Commissioner demanding the action on these stay dogs.
