NWKRTC Introduces Belagavi-Dharwad Rajahamsa Bus Service to Facilitate Vande Bharat Express Travelers
The North Western Karnataka Road Transport Corporation (NWKRTC) has started a new bus service called Rajahamsa executive class between Belagavi and Dharwad Railway Station.
The purpose of this bus service is to assist passengers traveling to and from the Vande Bharat Express, a train introduced between Bengaluru and Hubballi Dharwad.
There will be two buses operating between Belagavi and Dharwad, which will now be extended to Dharwad Railway Station to match the timings of the Vande Bharat Express train. The fare for this bus service is ₹135. Here is the schedule of the buses:
One bus departs from Belagavi at 11:20 AM and arrives in Dharwad at 12:50 PM. This bus is convenient for passengers traveling towards Bengaluru, as the Vande Bharat Express train departs from Dharwad at 1:15 PM.
Another bus leaves Dharwad at 12:25 PM and arrives in Belagavi at 1:55 PM. This bus is useful for passengers who have arrived from Bengaluru, as the Vande Bharat Express reaches Dharwad at around 12:00 PM.
The highly anticipated Vande Bharat Express, which is one of India's premium trains, runs between Dharwad and Bengaluru via Hubballi and Davanagere. It was inaugurated on June 27.
The Vande Bharat Express (Train 20661) departs from KSR Bengaluru (SBC) at 5:45 AM and reaches Dharwad at 12:10 PM. Along the way, the train makes stops at Yeshwantpur at 5:55 AM, Davanagere at 9:15 AM, and Hubballi at 11:30 AM.
In the return direction, Train 20662 departs from Dharwad at 1:15 PM and arrives at KSR Bengaluru at 7:45 PM. It stops at Hubballi (1:35 PM), Davanagere (3:38 PM), and Yeshwantpur (7:13 PM) during the journey.
