Revised Traffic Route for Shree Ganesh Visarjana Procession in Belagavi City

On 28th September 2023, in light of the Shree Ganesh Visarjana Procession, there will be a temporary alteration in the traffic route within Belagavi City. The procession will commence at Nargundkar Bhave Circle and proceed through Maruti Galli, Hutatma Chowk, Ramdev Galli, Samadevi Galli, Yendakhuta, College Road, Dharmaveer Sambhaji Maharaj Chowk, Ramalingkhind Galli Road, Tilak Chowk, Hemukalani Chowk, Shani Mandir, Kapileshwar RoB, and conclude at Kapileshwar Mandir.


During the Shree Ganesh immersion procession, starting from 2:00 pm on 28th September 2023 until its conclusion on 29th September 2023, the following vehicle route adjustments are in effect, and the public is urged to consider alternative routes:


1) For drivers/riders heading towards Khanapur via College Road, departing from Sangolli Rayanna Circle through Ashoka Pillar Circle-RTO-Channamma Circle, the route will redirect to Old PB Road, Krishnadevaraya (Kolhapur) Circle, Y-Junction, Sadashiva Nagar Lakshmi Complex, Visvesvaraya Nagar, Gandhi Circle (Argana Talav), Shaurya Chowk, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2, Sharqat Park, Globe Theater Circle, and onwards to Khanapur Road.


2) Vehicles traveling from Jija Mata Circle towards Deshpande Petrol Pump, Naragundakar Bhawe Chowk/Kambali Khoot, Pimpal Katta, and Patila Galla will be rerouted directly from Jija Mata Circle via Central Bus Stand/Patson Showroom, onto Old PB Road.


3) Vehicles arriving from Khanapur should follow Railway Station Road and proceed via Head Post Office Circle from Gogte Circle. For those continuing their journey, a left turn should be taken at Globe Theater Circle, leading to Sharqat Park, Kendriya Vidyalaya No. 2, Shaurya Chowk, Gandhi Circle, Ganesh Mandir, Hindalaga Road, Double Road, and eventually joining the National Highway via Bauxite Road.


4) Vehicles traveling from Nath Pai Circle via Bank of India, SPM Road, and the Kapileshwar Flyover Road should connect with Old PB Road starting from Bank of India Circle.
