
SBI ATM Near Sambra Looted, Rs 75,600 Stolen
In a shocking incident, four masked individuals allegedly robbed Rs 75,600 from an SBI ATM near Sambra around 2 AM. The accused fled the scene after executing the heist in just five minutes.
City Police Commissioner Iada Martin Marbaniang visited the spot and inspected the ATM. Speaking to the media, he stated, "CCTV footage shows three to four masked individuals arriving in a car, spraying the cameras, and using a gas cutter to break open the ATM. Despite prior instructions to enhance security, no guard was present at the location."
The police have linked this case to a recent ATM robbery attempt in Maharashtra. Three special teams have been formed to track down the culprits, and an investigation is underway at Marihal police station. Authorities have assured that the accused will be arrested soon.
