winter session at Belagavi is estimated to cost ₹37 crores this year
As the winter session is set to begin on 19 December in Belagavi, the officials have prepared an estimated cost of 37 crores for the event at Suvarna Soudha Belagavi.
According to a senior PWD engineer involved in the estimate's preparation, this figure does not include costs such as logistics, security, and officer allowances.
"All of those payments will be borne by the State government and will be considered routine expenses," he stated.
Given the recent developments over the Maharashtra-Karnataka border dispute, a special focus will be laid on security arrangements in and around the Suvarna Soudha and in some sensitive areas in Belagavi city.
