Belagavi Police Crack Inter-State Theft Ring: 21 Vehicles Recovered
In a major breakthrough, local authorities in Belagavi have dismantled an inter-state vehicle theft syndicate, resulting in the arrest of five individuals and the recovery of stolen assets valued at approximately ₹95 lakh.
The investigation began following a vehicle theft reported in late 2025 near Nilji Cross. Police traced the crime to a professional gang that operated across multiple districts and states, targeting vehicles parked outside residences. The operation, conducted by the local station, successfully neutralized this network and led to the recovery of a significant collection of stolen property.
